Previz in 3d stereo Latest Previz software

I guess we've all seen Avatar in 3d stereo by now and it does raise a good question.
What solutions are out there for creating your own Machinima style Avatar film?
Well the folks at iClone

I think iClone is probably the best choice. It seems to have evolved in leaps and bounds to not only provide fantastic environments but now it offers 3D stereo as well!

TVnima is a new player entering the machinima toolkit. Now in Beta, it's worth keeping an eye on.

3d doesn't have to be a headache. If you have a set of Red/Green glasses and you want to see some very cool print ads click on the pills.

Lastly, thanks to the organisers of the FILE exhibition this year. It was fun to be a part of this international event.

I am so frustrated with Antics. I spent a lot of time and energy trying to learn it, only to find out that I did not have any real content (emotion or scenes). Is Antics V3 even worth Downloading and installing - If I am only gonna come up short on content and animation tutorials? I need something affordable that I can use for Architectural Animation and Google SketchUp!

Well... I-Clone is Good... but Expensive, and it has so many Different PLUG-In packs (It will be $1000 or More) .

Sketchers Studio is a NEW neat animation tool. I am looking into using it right now. I have tried using Antics 3D V5 back in 2008, but, then they went out of business, and I have not been able to get content for their library since. I hear I Clone and Poser 8 are also good choices.

Chime in, If you think I am into something here.
I love hearing feedback. I love using SketchUp!

I am RE-Trying Antics - Using Antics V3 provided on your Blog Link - Thanks.

I am trying to Import SketchUp Models into the Program, but I am getting the Error: [File Reading Aborted By Exception]

Any Idea Here?

Ok,
I found the ANSWER to My QUESTION:
When using Antics V3, you must save all your SketchUp Models as SketchUp Version 6 or earlier (and then Import into Antics!)

Cheers!
I'll let you know how it goes!
Many Thanks 3D Fellows!

I have to agree that iClone can be very expensive. The good news is that they are finally opening up the door to creating and importing your own assets. This includes characters too. You also have the option of importing SketchUp objects for your scene. With GPU rendering just around the corner it may become a mute issue...

Hey I looked at the TVnima and it looks like a service rather than a machinima program.

Have you tried Moviestorm? Much cheaper than iClone.
