Yes, since they are rolling the core into Scene Systems we will have to break the law to continue development. So 'kill' is the appropriate term. However "for educational purposes" many will back-engineer it anyway and without access to the content that I expect Scene Systems to develop, it will be hard (and economically unfeasible)for the new owners to try and prove something came out of their engine. It's ours now.
